Physiotherapists know injury/pain and know how to treat it. The tutorial is an amalgam of Physiotherapy rehabilitation, Pilates and strength education. We want teach you why you may be getting those aches and pains and teach you the exercises to get stronger and avoid injury.
During the session we aim to give tips and ideas how to prevent or manage your day to day lives pain free. It could be ergonomics, it could be how to manage that crick in your neck or reduce the risk of that stiff back from returning.
Being led by a Physiotherapist you can expect education and exercise! We incorporate some Pilates, TRX exercises and our Physiotherapy know how to create an informative and fun session.
We hope to create a community that wants to prevent injury in a proactive manner. We want you to have learned enough from the tutorials to progress to whatever your chosen activity is with more confidence. We want to to stay happy and healthy.

What is TRX and suspension training? At our clinic space we will have TRX training incorporated into our classes and rehabilitation- TRX is probably the best known system for suspension training. It can help progress or regress body weight exercises (calisthenics) and is a whole lot of fun. Elite athletes and military organisations use this type of equipment to improve their strength and conditioning.
Why not call it Pilates? Joseph Pilates created a series of exercises designed for health and rehabilitation. Exercise and medicine has since evolved and there are some Pilates practices that would not be appropriate for people with certain pathology. If you are healthy and have no pathology Pilates is a great way to exercise.
